We are looking at a Art Nouveau style dresser, probably produced between the 1930s and 1940s. The piece shows an inlay design, solid structure and precious details typical of luxury manufactories of the early 20th century. Decorated with motifs characteristic of this style inspired by Art Nouveau. The piece has approximate dimensions of 73 cm high and 30 x 40 cm wide and deep. This type of side tables and dressers used to adorn luxurious interiors of homes and emblematic buildings during the heyday of Art Nouveau and up to the mid-20th century.

Main Features
1. Materials and Manufacturing Technique
Noble woods both in the structure and the central inlay rosette. Drawer joints in dovetail

2. Art Nouveau Style
The Art Nouveau style emerged from the last decades of the 19th century and the first decades of the 20th century and continued to develop as a key influence in decoration until the 1960s. It reflected the growing fascination with natural materials and the curved, wavy designs. The lamp shown in the image resembles this movement, especially in terms of the symmetry details present in the bronze that makes up its main structure, and in the geometry of the crystal pieces, perfectly aligned in a circle or squares depending on the design.

3. Historical Context
Art Nouveau was a symbol of beauty and a soft nod to classicism, using luxury materials like bronze, which, together with the introduction of electricity, transformed interior design. This type of lamps used to be found in luxurious mansions, theatres, and large lobbies. The 1920s were a globally challenging era due to the Great Depression; however, this style continued to spread due to what it represented: luxury, modernity and functionality.
