Description from the seller
Very decorative female torso / mannequin. You could also call it a dress form or a display figure. It is the upper part of a dress form, without arms.
The torso is 72 cm tall, 32 cm wide, 20 cm deep and weighs about 3 kg.
This torso has always been used in a women's fashion shop, where not only lingerie was displayed but also other clothing.
The torso is likely made of plaster with a hardener and a plastic cover. It shows signs of use (see photos), but those signs of wear are consistent with a torso about 40 years old that was probably intensively used in a women's fashion store.
The torso still looks very decorative, and especially the face is still striking, aside from a small spot on the nose. The eyes are particularly expressive, and the mouth is indistinguishable from real.
Of course this torso can be easily recolored, so that the white spots (scratches where the plaster shows through the paint) would be covered, but that is not necessary; it is part of the torso's history.
On the back a brand is visible: MLK 104. At the arms and at the bottom are the attachment points for the arms and the lower torso.
The torso is very decorative and can be a charming item in a living environment. It can also be used in a bedroom or walk-in closet as a dress form and/or jewelry hanger.
The torso will be carefully packed and insured for shipping.
