Description from the seller
Set of three sugar bowls with a solid silver foot – first half of the 20th century
A refined set of three sugar bowls, finished with a solid silver foot (.800) and an elegantly faceted glass goblet, dating from the first half of the 20th century. The silver content has been tested by a jeweler and confirmed as .800 silver.
The combination of clear faceted glass and silver provides a stylish and classic appearance. The fine cutting work in the glass catches the light subtly, while the silver foot gives the whole a luxurious and solid character. Such bowls were used for serving sugar or small sweets with tea and coffee.
A charming and decorative ensemble that is both functional and aesthetically appealing, suitable within a classic table setting.
