Description from the seller

Champagne cooler (or jardinière) in gilt copper, Louis XVI style, circa 1900-1920.
Elegant campanula-shaped champagne cooler in gilt copper, adorned with rich relief decorations: movable satyr-mask handles holding rings, and central appliques depicting a basket of fruits surmounted by draperies and garlands. The upper rim is smooth and reinforced. Heavy and good quality piece, which can also be used as a jardinière. Neo-classical style highly appreciated during the Belle Époque.
