In this work I explore identity as a territory under tension, where the face ceases to be a stable unit and becomes a space of construction, fragmentation and internal dialogue. The figure is not presented as a portrait, but as a synthesis of multiple gazes coexisting on the same plane.

The composition is organized through a geometric structure that divides and articulates the face into different segments. This fragmentation does not imply rupture, but a new form of coherence, where each plane contributes a different dimension of identity. The central vertical line acts as an axis of balance and, at the same time, as a symbolic boundary between two realities that coexist.

The work is part of a contemporary reinterpretation of the cubist language. The decomposition of form, the simultaneity of perspectives and the integration of different points of view into a single image directly recall the principles of Cubism, albeit from a current sensibility, more expressive and emotional.

Color assumes a structural and psychological role. The intense and contrasted color ranges generate a visual tension that reinforces the duality of the face, while the transitions between tones build depth without resorting to traditional perspective. The painting does not describe, but organizes, suggests and transforms.

"Dual Vision" proposes a reflection on the complexity of the contemporary self. There is not a single identity, but multiple layers that overlap, contradict and balance each other. It is in that coexistence, in that apparent disorder, where a deeper form of unity emerges.
