Architectural base - 1850-1900 - 18/19

Rare pedestal/base for figurines, all made of thick wood, of very good quality, painted green and gold, decorated with 4 Portuguese-origin tiles, which should date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century.

The wooden base should be from the mid-20th century, and it is indeed in very good condition. The tiles: 3 of them are in good condition, only showing the signs of the passing years; the last, unfortunately, has a significant crack as can be seen in the photos.

An unusual and very beautiful piece.
