Faliskische Schale, an Etruscan terracotta bowl on a stand dating to the 4th century BCE, 14.6 cm wide with a light brown body and dark decoration and a star motif on the inner surface, in good condition, acquired in 2018 from a German auction house, previously owned from a private collection since 1981; authentic original.
Description from the seller
Faliscan bowl. Small bowl on a stand. Light brown clay with dark decoration. On the inside of the bowl, a star ornament in a spiral. Medium Italic, probably Faliscan, 4th century BC. Ø 14.6 cm. Slightly battered. From the South German collection of Dr. Heim. With a copy of the collection's inventory slip. Exhibition: Nuremberg. Summer 1981. Ex Hirsch Nachfolger München 2018.
