Tomiyama - Model plane - DC-8 KLM

Special tin toy from the KLM PH-DCJ from the early 1960s, tin fuselage. Early version of the DC-8, the first-generation jet-age engine, with (old) KLM livery. From the Tomiyama company, with a friction mechanism (present, but does not work). Original printings clearly visible, the complete form, including landing gear and friction mechanism. Beautiful authentic patina (not restored). And, the sliding: doors open, a stewardess is visible and passengers behind the windows, it still works. It is clearly a 60-year-old toy that has been played with; check all photos for a good impression: signs of wear, a bit of rust at the tail, here and there scratches and dents, no box. As a whole, authentic appearance. (as far as I know) complete example – all parts present – original condition. Length 37 cm, wingspan 36 cm.
