 La scena, ironica e teatrale, mostra un gruppo di personaggi tipicamente “boteriani”, dalle forme generose, intenti in una partita a carte in un’atmosfera sospesa e surreale. L’artista, come sempre, unisce la monumentalità delle figure a un sottile senso di satira sociale.

Questa lito ufficiale è stata realizzata in occasione della mostra antologica Botero 1949-1991 al Palazzo delle Esposizioni di Roma (1991–1992). È oggi un manifesto originale da esposizione, raro e ricercato dai collezionisti di grafica e arte contemporanea.
