Set: Antico Inglese Sheffield circa 1900

Elegant English set in Sheffield plate dating from the late nineteenth century, consisting of a tray with central support for a spoon holder, four cups on feet, and four matching spoons. The tray features a refined pierced edge and engraving with geometric and floral motifs, typical of English production of the period, which lend lightness and elegance to the whole.

The central structure is equipped with a shaped handle with an upper ring grip and curved supports for housing the spoons. The four cups, finely worked with gadrooning decoration and wavy rims, rest on circular feet and are harmoniously proportioned to the tray. The spoons have a simple, essential line, perfectly matched to the service.

On the bottom there is the hallmark “L & Co” with indication Sheffield and numbering, confirming the English manufacture of the era.
