Main Features
The Delta Integrale evolved into several versions, including the 8-valve Integrale, the 16-valve, and the subsequent Evolution (Evo). Each model introduced technical improvements and a more aggressive aesthetic.
Engine: Primarily a 2.0-liter turbo in 8- or 16-valve configuration. The 16-valve version delivered about 196 horsepower. Evolution versions exceeded 200 hp.
Drivetrain: Permanent all-wheel drive with an asymmetric torque split (56% front, 44% rear for the HF 4WD) via an epicyclic central differential with Ferguson viscous coupling and a rear Torsen differential.
Performance: The Delta HF Integrale 16V accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in around 5.7 seconds and reached a top speed of about 220 km/h.
Design: Characterized by an aggressive design with widened track, enlarged tires, and a “bulged” hood (in the 16V and later versions) to accommodate the new engine.
