Original Industrial Export Invoice – Siemens-Schuckertwerke AG - July 16, 1937 - Berlin-Siemensstadt, Germany
A rare primary source document from Siemens-Schuckertwerke (SSW), the heavy power engineering arm of the Siemens group. This invoice details the sale and shipment of specialized industrial electrical cable to Greece.
Features the classic Siemens-Schuckertwerke letterhead with details of their Berlin-Siemensstadt headquarters, including bank accounts at the Reichsbank and postal codes of the era.
Detailed shipping route via sea freight ("per Wasser unfrei"). It mentions the forwarding agent in Hamburg and the Levante-Linie steamer service for transport to the port of Piraeus.
The document bears official Siemens company stamps, handwritten signatures of clerks, and contemporary filing marks in purple ink and pencil.
In very good vintage condition. It shows natural age-related toning (patina), two original punch holes for filing, and standard folding creases. The purple typewriter ink and stamps remain vibrant and perfectly legible.
