Spinosaur - Fossil tooth - 6.2 cm - 2.1 cm (No reserve price)

→6.2 cm long x 2.1 cm wide at the widest point Spinosaurus teeth It is a very beautiful, natural & shiny teeth of the one and only the iconic Spinosaurus. Starting from the top, the tip of the teeth has small amount of natural wear and the main enamel of the teeth is in excellent shape with very nice shine to it. The color of the teeth changes form deep dark black-brown at tip region to somewhat black-brown as we move towards the junction of starting of the root region. At one small region , the enamel seem to be eroded revealing the dentin region of the teeth which is cool in its own way. The bottom region of the teeth shows the root region and its detachment from the Spinosaurus jaw when it was shed as Spinosaurus teeth just like other reptiles constantly get replaced. Spinosaurus teeth does not have serrations but enamel which is prominent at the tip and gradually tapers towards the root and it feature light longitudinal ridges & these feature are also visible on the provided teeth. These longitudinal ridges are called longitudinal striations in technical terms. Scientistic believe 2 to 3 different types of Spinosaurus lived in Africa based on the those longitudinal striations and the teeth morphology in general. The overall teeth is in excellent shape. Detailed photos have been provided for reference.
