An original set of Philips 22RH544 Electronic Motional Feedback loudspeakers is offered, produced in the Netherlands in the 1970s. These speakers belong to Philips' well-known MFB series and are renowned for their very precise and controlled low-frequency reproduction.
The Motional Feedback system uses a sensor in the woofer that continuously measures the cone’s movement and corrects it. This results in a particularly tight and controlled sound image that was revolutionary at the time and is still appreciated by enthusiasts today.
The speakers have been refurbished and serviced about 7 months ago, ensuring they function correctly.
Each speaker contains an built-in amplifier, making the system active and able to be driven directly via a line signal.
The cabinets are in neat vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with their age. The front grills are present and the drivers are original, as visible in the photos.
