The vase has a baluster shape with small applied handles on the shoulder, inspired by archaic bronze forms. The teadust glaze, known for its subtle speckled effect, was admired during the Qing dynasty for its resemblance to the color of fine tea leaves. This example shows excellent craftsmanship, with a soft sheen and rich texture that catches the light beautifully. The base shows a red seal mark within a recessed footrim.
