Three gilded wooden display frames in a fan shape, made in Italy and dating to 1910–1920, the largest measuring 77 cm wide by 48 cm high with a depth of about 6 cm.
Description from the seller
Three large fan-shaped display frames – Italy, early 20th century
Elegant and scenographic set of three fan-shaped display frames, made of gilded wood and dating to the early Italian 1900s, a period when domestic furnishings and wall decoration were strongly influenced by the refined aesthetics of the Belle Époque.
The semicircular form, inspired by the silhouette of an open fan, is particularly decorative and refined. This type of frame was often used for photographic portraits or small paintings, creating elegant wall compositions in living rooms and boudoirs of the era.
The three frames feature a molded wooden structure with gilded finish, enriched by slim moldings and ornamental engravings along the edge. The gold leaf, with its patina developed over time, lends the objects an authentic character and a distinctly period charm.
The largest frame measures 77 cm in width and 48 cm in height, while all three have a thickness of about 6 cm, which gives solidity and a dramatic presence. The generous dimensions make this set especially suitable for creating a striking and highly evocative decorative composition.
Ideal items for Liberty (Art Nouveau), Belle Époque, or early 20th-century interiors, but also perfect for contemporary interiors where one wishes to introduce a decorative antique element with strong aesthetic impact.
The combination of the three frames allows for a harmonious and scenographic arrangement, ideal for enhancing vintage photographs, artistic prints, or portraits.
adequate packaging and trackable shipping throughout Europe.
