Sumerian Scroll, engraved amulet
Very old and dating back several thousand years.
Discovered in the region of present-day Iraq.
The Sumerian civilization was advanced and was rediscovered in the mid-19th century.
The Sumerians drove chariots and possessed great astronomical knowledge, well before Galileo!
Many engravings on objects and in stone show them with objects levitating above the end of a chain, well-known planets, and wrist bracelets with a dial on the arm, among other things.
The artefact for sale is carved in a semi-matte stone that lets light pass through. This may present an optimal display interest.
Clearly visible is a King or high Sumerian dignitary standing in the stopped chariot and a chariot driver hitched to horses.
The passenger is turned backward in the chariot and makes arm-extended movements with a triangular object levitating above his hands!
In front of him, at the bottom of the chariot, is a priest or magician with his scepter and a low table at his feet.
Above the horses, one can distinguish a vortex with a dot at its center. This vortex is carved in a semi-conical way into the amulet.
The harness is also driven by two horses seen in profile.
It is interesting to note the precision of the details: the eyes, the beard, the nose, the headdresses and togas, the hair, the detail of the wheel visible on the chariot, in profile, with the center and the wheel spokes.
This artefact perfectly represents:
- an ancient Sumerian civilization, advanced in terms of private transport and war chariots.
- knowledge of the stars, constellations, and planets!
- a strong connection to mysticism and magic or to ancient lost technology. (this people is notably the origin of the Baghdad electric pile).
