Clock - Suevia - Wood - 1960-1970 - Table clock

This is a rare clock from Sindelfingen, West Germany, and it is unique because it houses an original quarter-hour striking movement. This movement runs on a very sturdy eight-day mechanism like a charm, which is due to it having been recently serviced, not overhauled (not needed), oiled and finely adjusted. Every quarter hour it faithfully tolls its tune, and at the hour, at its own pace, it strikes the number of hours. The condition of the polished case is also beautiful.
