All automatic watches must be wound at first use; wrist movement alone is not sufficient to maintain the required power reserve.

RULE FOR ALL WATCHES WITH DATE
To avoid potential damage to the watch mechanism, please do not set the date with the crown when the time is between 21:00 and 03:00. It is recommended to set the date when the time is between 03:05 and 20:55. (Some models have a screw-down crown; for settings, gently unscrew the crown counterclockwise. Remember to tighten the crown properly after adjusting the desired settings.)
