Rare pair of wooden frames with convex glass, depicting Napoleon and Josephine, dating to circa 1850–1900, each frame measuring 17.5 × 15.5 × 2.5 cm, with beeswax figures in overall good condition and minor wear.
Description from the seller
Rare pair of frames with the representations of Napoleon and Josephine.
Wooden frame, with convex glass; both the frames and the glass are in very good condition.
I think the figures are made of beeswax, and they are in generally good condition, showing tiny flaws and wear.
On the back there are two stickers from Portugal’s best auction house, Cabral e Moncada, which means that at some point in their lives they were auctioned at a prestigious house that only accepts high-quality pieces.
