Description from the seller
This is a natural jade grape ornament imported from Pakistan, a handcrafted jade artwork with a distinctive exotic style.
Core Material: The main body is natural Pakistani chalcedony (also known as Pakistani jade, a related variety to Afghan jade), belonging to carbonate jade, a unique jade resource native to Pakistan.
Origin Characteristics: Pakistani jade is characterized by its warm, milky-white base with natural banded/colorful patterns. Each "grape" in this ornament features natural warm-toned bands of beige, orange-pink, and light brown, making the texture unique and a hallmark of natural jade.
Texture: The jade has undergone high polishing, resulting in a lustrous and translucent surface with a cool, delicate touch. Under sunlight, it exhibits a warm, oily sheen, showcasing the high-end texture of natural stone.
Craftsmanship: Each "grape" is hand-cut, polished, and bound by Pakistani artisans using wire/fishing line, ultimately forming a naturally drooping bunch of grapes. The craftsmanship is exquisite, with each grape round and plump, a typical example of South Asian handcrafted jade products.
The Spirituality of Jade: Natural jade has been regarded since ancient times as an auspicious object for "warding off evil, bringing good fortune, and ensuring peace." Pakistani jade is also believed to have the effect of soothing emotions and nourishing the mind and body.
