Unknown European artist (probably German-speaking area), active in the early 20th century. Classical-realistic genre painting with a humorous motif (smoking monk in everyday clothes).
Title, date, medium:
"Monk with a Cigarette" (estimated ca. 1900–1940), oil on panel, mounted. Realistic half-portrait of an older monk in a dark habit, blue scapular, and cigarette in the corner of the mouth – lifelike, popular-genre scene against a dark background.

- With frame: 32 × 35 × 6 cm

Unknown artist – workshop/circle of genre painting (German, 20th century). Signature "Elliott" or similar (lower left, hard to read). Typical salon painting without a named artist attribution.
