Painter-decorator, son of Philippe Marie Emile Chaperon, whom he succeeded in his role as theatre decorator at the Théâtre, at the Opéra, at the Comédie Française and at the Odéon. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, at the Salon d'hiver and at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris.
