Description
Authentic 19th-century brass hand-pressure sprayer with internal pump construction and long, screw-on nozzle.
Produced in solid brass with original wooden pump rod and beautiful, untouched patina.
This type of portable pressure sprayer was used in the late 19th century to dispense liquids such as light oil, water, or cleaning fluid for machines, workshops, and possibly in domestic or industrial maintenance.
Construction:
Closed brass reservoir with faceted base plate
Ventilation holes just above the foot (pressure regulation)
Long, detachable screw-on nozzle for targeted application
Internal wooden piston rod with original wear and patina
Fully brass construction
The pump operates via an internal piston: downward pressure pushes liquid out through the nozzle. The slender form and long nozzle allow precise treatment of hard-to-reach places.
