Art Nouveau hand mirror made of 900 silver – circa 1900 – floral repoussé

Elegant small hand mirror crafted in solid 900 silver, made in the Art Nouveau period around 1900–1910.

The back features a three-dimensionally repoussé floral decoration with sweeping leaf and blossom motifs in the typically organic language of form from the fin de siècle. The background is dotted, creating a beautiful contrast to the highly polished relief.

The mirror is stamped with “900” as well as the master mark “A.S.”
