Rafa López, Yellow Into the Pop - No Reserve, a mixed‑media wooden sculpture in Pop Art style, 25 cm wide, 22 cm high, 10 cm deep, made of polychromed wood, hand‑signed, delivered mounted on its original wooden base with an authenticity certificate.
Description from the seller
In "Yellow into the pop", Rafa López transports his vibrant pictorial universe into three dimensions, exploring sculpture as an extension of his usual grafismos. This piece breaks the limits of the canvas to invade the physical space, turning color and form into a tangible object that engages the viewer from every angle.
Analysis of the work:
The sculpture presents itself as a living organism of Pop Surrealist aesthetics. Its organic silhouette, perforated by voids that allow light and air to pass through, recalls the biomorphic shapes of modernity, but reinterpreted under a contemporary and urban language. The use of thick black outlines to define the color fields gives the piece a very strong graphic character, almost as if a drawing had come to life and volume.
Technically, the work is a display of mastery in mixed media on wood. The artist uses gradations of greens and circular forms to create a sense of depth and relief on the flat surface of the wood. The natural wooden base not only serves as support but establishes an organic contrast with the artificial explosion of color on the upper part, reinforcing the piece’s identity as an object of artistic desire.
Logistics and shipping:
The piece is delivered mounted on its original wooden base.
It is carefully packaged with bubble wrap and high‑strength cardboard box to ensure its integrity during transport.
Hand-signed on the bottom left edge and on the back. Includes the artist’s certificate of authenticity.
