Vase - polychrome cameo glass - Perfume bottle

Elegant cylindrical perfume bottle (or salt shaker bottle) made of multistratified artistic glass with refined gold-plated decorations and the original metal frame. The piece is a classic example of high French craftsmanship from around 1900-1910, strongly influenced by the botanical models of Daum Nancy.

The object exhibits execution quality typical of Lorraine glassmaking excellence of the era:
- Multistratified Faded Glass: The bottle body features a splendid color gradient that shifts from a delicate violet/lavender at the base to a deep ruby/fuchsia toward the top, obtained by overlaying layers of colored glass.
- Givré Finish (Ice Effect): The external surface is entirely acid-etched to achieve a satin and granular texture that realistically imitates frost and cold, a distinctive technique of the Nancy production area.
- Engraving and Gilding: The floral decoration (leaves and tendrils of anemone or orchid) is first etched with acid and subsequently embellished with 24-karat gold inlays (gold enamel) that delineate the contours and botanical details, giving the composition a precious luminosity.
- Original Mounting: The bottle retains its original protective base in gilded/darkened metal, enriched by a beaded edge that attests to the care given to ornamental detail.

- Attribution: School of Nancy (Daum Nancy / Gallé style).
- Era: Circa 1900-1910 (Art Nouveau).
- Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The glass is intact, with no chips or cracks. The gold decorations are well preserved and bright. The metal mounting shows a natural patina that confirms its authenticity.
