Antique Louis XV display table in bois de rose with ceramic plaques – Napoleonic III era
Refined Louis XV-style display table, made in bois de rose during the Napoleon III era, featuring elegant sinuous lines and richly applied decoration.
The upper top, octagonal in shape, is embellished with a central glass insert that allows viewing the interior lined with burgundy fabric. The glass is framed by a thin contoured molding and a perforated gallery in gilded metal that runs around the entire perimeter, giving lightness and preciousness to the whole.
The lower fascia is decorated with finely chased bronze appliques and enriched with circular ceramic plaques painted with polychrome floral motifs, set into ornamental frames. In the center there is a lock with a hanging tassel.
