Description from the seller

A small vase from the 1950s/1960s of the well-known Murano glass art house Seguso Vetri d'Arte. It is an 'acid-etched' or 'corroded' glass. This opaque, rough finish is achieved by submerging the glass in an acidic solution to imitate the appearance of ancient glass found during archaeological excavations (a style often also called 'Scavo'). The body of the vase is enriched with hot-applied small glass discs or 'studs,' which give it an almost prehistoric or modernist look typical of 1950s and 1960s production. Details and measurements in the photo.
