Description from the seller
Pair of kneeling angels – porcelain – France – late 19th century.
Professionally shipped – more than 900 five-star reviews worldwide.
Elegant pair of kneeling angels with folded hands and a contemplative expression. The figures are made in matte bisque porcelain with soft color tones and fine details in the hair and facial expression. The garments are subtly decorated with small pearl motifs and gilded accents, while the wings and the oval base with cushion-shaped elements give the piece a light and decorative character.
Height approx. 22 cm, in good condition with signs of wear; one angel has been cut in half in the past and carefully glued, with the repair visible and aligned with the kintsugi principle whereby damage is not hidden but seen as part of the object's history. There is also damage to one of the wing tips on the same angel.
Please take a good look at the photos, they are part of the description.
Shipped with track & trace.
