Description from the seller

Elegant and refined English egg cruet set in silver plate (EPNS), produced by Daniel & Arter, Birmingham, and dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1900–1910.

The set comprises a stand with four egg cups and four matching spoons, presented on a square base with bun feet. The central column supports a beautifully shaped heart-form handle, a characteristic and highly decorative feature of the Edwardian era.

The egg cups are finely proportioned with subtle detailing, while the spoons display a classic shell motif. The overall design combines functionality with understated elegance typical of high-quality English tableware of the period. The pieces are marked EPNS along with maker’s marks for Daniel & Arter (see photos), a well-regarded Birmingham manufacturer active in the late 19th and early 20th century.

Good antique condition with light surface wear, minor scratches and signs of use consistent with age. No major damage. Please refer carefully to photos for full condition. A charming and collectible Edwardian silver-plated set by a reputable maker – ideal for collectors or as an elegant addition to the breakfast table.
