Set van drie antieke bronzen reisiconen in traditionele Russisch-orthodoxe stijl, uitgevoerd in fijn gegoten reliëf.
De panelen tonen heiligen met halo’s en inscripties in oudkerkslavisch, typerend voor devotionele iconografie uit Oost-Europa. De aanwezigheid van scharnieren wijst erop dat deze panelen oorspronkelijk onderdeel waren van een draagbaar drieluik (triptych), bedoeld voor persoonlijk gebruik thuis of onderweg.
Wat deze set bijzonder maakt, is het authentieke, onaangetaste oppervlak. Het brons heeft een natuurlijke, doorleefde patina ontwikkeld, met subtiele sporen van gebruik en ouderdom. Dit geeft de iconen een ingetogen, bijna tastbare geschiedenis — geen gepolijste decoratie, maar objecten die daadwerkelijk zijn gebruikt.
