Bronze statue of a Sphinx with a silvered finish on a marble base, made in France in the 19th century (1850–1900), in the Egyptian Revival style; measurements 9 cm high, 6 cm wide, 13 cm deep; condition is fair, heavily used with possible small parts missing, and a small chip on the marble.
