Nikon Speedlight SB-16 in very good condition, tested and working, dating from the 1980s to 1990s, includes the flash unit, flash case and flash cap.
Description from the seller
This nice flash is handy for giving your photos even better lighting. It has been tested and found to be working. It shows light signs of wear. This flash is specially designed for the Nikon F3.
Included:
- Nikon speedlight SB-16
- Flash case
- Flash cap
Double flash head: The large main flash can tilt (up to 90°) and swivel (180° to the left, 90° to the right) for indirect flash via the ceiling or the wall. A smaller front secondary flash provides fill light to soften shadows in the eyes.
Guide number: Powerful output with a guide number of 32 (at ISO 100 in meters) or 42 with the 85mm zoom setting.
Zoom head: Manually adjustable for 28mm, 35mm, 50mm and 85mm to tailor the light beam to your lens.
Power: Works on 4 AA batteries (alkaline or rechargeable NiCd/NiMH)
TTL (Through-The-Lens): Provides automatic exposure on compatible Nikon film cameras (such as the F3, FE2, FA). Note: TTL does not work on modern digital SLRs or mirrorless cameras.
Non-TTL Auto (A1/A2): The flash meters the exposure itself via a front sensor. This works with virtually any camera, including modern digital models.
Manual (M): Full manual control over flash power.
Motor Drive (MD): Allows the flash to fire at a lower power (about 1/16) to capture a sequence of shots (up to 3.8 frames per second).
