Refined hand-embroidered satin silk king-size bedspread – 1970s
Magnificent vintage king-size bedspread, made in the 1970s in fine ivory-colored satin silk. The fabric, thin and luminous, reflects light with elegance, giving a sense of great refinement.
The central part features a very rich pierced decoration with floral and arabesque motifs, entirely finished with handmade tone-on-tone embroidery. The edge is enhanced by an elegant floral frieze that frames the design, making the piece harmonious and of strong aesthetic impact.
A perfect example of high-quality linen from the 1970s, designed not only as a functional item but above all as a premium decorative piece.
