This set consists of 6 Bohemian crystal glasses in the 'Cranberry Cut-to-Clear' style, often used as liqueur or sherry glasses in very good condition.

High-quality hand-cut crystal.
Bohemian (Czech) craftsmanship, known for the red color that is cut away to reveal clear patterns.

Deep, handmade cutting patterns and a star pattern on the bottom.

Overvangkristal (Casing): The glass consists of two layers. A base of clear crystal is during blowing 'captured' with a thin layer of colored glass, in this case ruby red or "cranberry".
Cutting technique (Cut-to-Clear): A craftsman cuts through the red top layer, causing the clear crystal beneath to become visible again. This creates the characteristic contrast.
