Fountain - 20th century

Stunning fountain in Levanto green marble.
On the front, Neptune and marine elements are depicted (its dimensions are
h.63cm, width 50cm, and thickness 20 cm).
The semi-octagonal basin has no drain; water cascades over the front when the basin is full.
It has no supporting leg, perhaps it was resting on a wall structure, since the water had to fall into a lower basin.
The inside of the basin is shell-shaped, while on the outside there is a female head and a bearded male head.
Given its weight and delicacy, it will be shipped in two wooden crates placed on two respective pallets.
