Description from the seller
Beautiful Vintage JVC KD-65 Stereo Cassette Deck – High-End 1970s Design
Offered: an iconic piece of audio history from the golden age of hi-fi: the JVC KD-65. This cassette deck, produced around 1978/1979, is known for its rugged build quality and the beautiful appearance with the distinctive large, illuminated VU meters.
This deck was a top performer in its time thanks to the innovative SEN-Alloy heads, which combine ferrite durability with the superior sound quality of permalloy. The unique "Spectro Peak Indicator" (the 5 LED lights between the VU meters) gives this unit a brilliant vintage look in a dark listening room.
Condition of the unit:
* Exterior: In very neat condition with minimal signs of use for its age. The brushed aluminum front panel shines beautifully and all lettering is sharp.
* Technical: Fully functional. Rewinds powerfully, plays at the correct speed, and the recording quality is excellent. (If recently serviced: equipped with new belts and heads cleaned/demagnetized).
A rare opportunity for the vintage audio collector to secure one of the most sought-after JVC models.

The audio equipment we offer is largely vintage gear that is 40 years old or older. Each unit is carefully checked by us, professionally cleaned, and extensively tested before being put up for sale.
Despite this careful inspection, it may happen that a defect occurs upon receipt or over time. Due to the age of the equipment, such malfunctions can occur unpredictably and are beyond our control.
Therefore, we cannot offer a warranty on vintage equipment. We understand this may be disappointing and we think it is important to be transparent and honest about it. Of course, we do our utmost to deliver each unit in the best possible condition.
