Description from the seller
This artwork tells a story about the moment in life when a certain point is crossed — a point of no return. After passing it, going back or changing direction becomes difficult, and sometimes impossible.
In the distance, faint silhouettes represent fragments of the past. They are still visible, but already dissolving into the haze, becoming less defined with time. The horizon and the sunset symbolize the dual nature of every life path — both light and darkness, good and difficult moments.
The small boat in the foreground moves forward, not drifting with the current but following its own direction. It reflects the idea that only through effort and inner strength a person can reach what they truly want, even when the path is uncertain.
The painting is created with acrylic using both palette knife and brush techniques. The surface has a rich texture and visible relief, giving the work depth and a sculptural character.
The canvas is handmade and reinforced. It is designed to remain stable over time — it does not sag, does not deform, and is resistant to changes in temperature and humidity. Suitable for different climates.
The artwork is signed by the artist and ready to hang.
