Vintage Photax stereo-3D viewer in a rare out-of-production edition for English Steel Corporation of Sheffield.
The set includes 30 slides documenting the activities of this company, a pillar of British industry of the last century, which later took the name British Steel when it was nationalised in 1967.
In its original case, complete with the original instruction leaflet and a slide-index template, bulbs and a spare spring.
Adjustable for focus and interocular distance.
Practically unused, it has always been in our offices for about 60 years.
In very good condition, tested and working, it bears the inevitable signs of wear.
