A very large scraper made of flint from the Neolithic Michelsberg culture (circa 3500 BC), in excellent condition, measuring 159 x 71 mm, originating from Spiennes near Mons, Belgium, with authentic Original authenticity and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Very large scraper made from the local flint of Spiennes and surroundings. Typical of the Middle Neolithic Michelsberg culture. This specimen still bears traces of the silex nodule and sits very well in the hand.
The site of Spiennes near Mons is world-famous for its large number of silex mines and is one of the largest workings of this product in Europe. The modern local museum is definitely worth a visit.
In good condition and with no restorations
Dimensions 159 x 71 mm.
