L.A.Barreiros - Atelier - Pure Techno Record player

Equipment produced by L.A.Barreiros - Atelier with high-performance, high-quality components (for example, EMT, Sony, Grado, Sansui, Pro-Ject, etc.). In partnership with the Institute of Arts and Sciences, this turntable was demonstrated at Expo 98. While it is not a HI-End piece, it is nevertheless a beautiful example of technique and art! For example, the anti-slip is by gravity and magnetic, the lift is electromagnetic, the belt-driven drive motor is aided by static coils with a permanent magnet, as you can see in the photo. It is completely manual and the lift serves to remove the tonearm at the end of the record. The speeds are set by the user, and to assist with the 33rpm and 45rpm positions, a stabilizer with a stroboscope is offered. It is therefore a techno/artwork signed by the author. Thank you
