Designer: unknown, in the style of De Coene
Manufacturer: probably Belgian workshop / De Coene style
Object: Brutalist cocktail cabinet / bar cabinet
Material: solid oak, black-stained interior in natural wood
Dimensions: approx. 100 × 45 × 110 cm (w × d × h)
Design year: approx. 1960–1970
Description: Mid-century brutalist bar cabinet with a strongly graphic front composed of square panels with varying grain. The piece is finished in black-stained oak with a warm wooden interior.
The cabinet contains a fully equipped bar section with glass racks and space for bottles, combined with storage for tableware. The architectural front and the clear wood grain are characteristic of Belgian brutalist furniture designs from the 1960s and 1970s, often attributed to ateliers such as De Coene.
Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of use on edges and corners appropriate to its age.
