Beautiful Kipp Stewart for Drexel Declaration square walnut 459 corner/coffee table, a side table, made between 1950 and 1960.
This mid-20th-century corner table, made of walnut wood, comes from Drexel Furnishings. Drexel produced a range of Kipp Stewart designs, a self-made and versatile creative man. Stewart was an award-winning designer of modern art, best known for his design of the Ventana Big Sur resort.

His passion for environmentally friendly and nature-inspired designs is evident in many of his design elements, which are still highly regarded internationally.

The table shown here reflects his philosophy through the use of solid wood, with a woven rattan lower shelf that blends a modern style with organic influences. The table bears a maker's stamp on the underside for authenticity and is in good condition given its vintage age and use.
