Walter Knoll – Plus 144 – 2 modular vintage lounge chairs in leather – Germany, 1970s

For sale are two high-quality modular vintage lounge chairs from the Walter Knoll Collection, Made in Germany, from the 1970s.

The chairs are attributed to the model Plus 144. An original manufacturer label reading «Collection Walter Knoll Made in Germany» is present (see photo).

The two generous seating elements feature an original underside connection system. They can be flexibly configured as a connected two-seater sofa or used individually as lounge chairs.

Material and color

The chairs are upholstered in soft, high-quality leather in a warm camel/cognac brown, presumably nubuck or buffalo leather. The leather shows a beautiful, naturally aged patina with characteristic lighter and darker color nuances.

Both chairs come with original, loose neck cushions that further enhance seating comfort and are included with the set.

Condition

Very good vintage original condition with nice leather patina and age-appropriate, superficial signs of wear, including light scratches and natural color variations.

From well-kept private ownership. The chairs have seen little use and were treated with care.
