A radical celebration transformed into an icon. Official document and representation of the Ferrari F40, introduced in 1987 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Maranello brand. Conceived under the direct supervision of Enzo Ferrari, it was the last model developed in the life of the “Commendatore,” and from its birth it was destined to become a legend.

The Ferrari F40 was not an evolution; it was a statement. Its design, the work of Pininfarina, embraced an extreme and functional aesthetics: sharp lines, generous air intakes, lightweight panels, and the unmistakable fixed rear wing that defined its silhouette. Every element had a clear purpose: reduce weight, increase aerodynamic load, and maximize performance. There were no concessions to luxury; only an obsession with speed.

Its structure incorporated composite materials such as Kevlar, carbon fiber, and aluminum, technologies advanced for its time. The cockpit, minimalist and almost Spartan, eliminated everything superfluous: simple door panels, absence of carpets, and an atmosphere that recalled more a race car than a conventional grand tourer.

At the heart of the F40 throbbed a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V8 capable of surpassing 470 hp. Paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, it offered a visceral, demanding, and absolutely analogue driving experience. Power delivery was explosive, the turbo pushed with intensity, and each acceleration conveyed a raw and direct sensation, with no electronic aids to soften its character.

It was the first production car to officially reach 320 km/h, a milestone that positioned it as the world's fastest car at the time. But beyond the numbers, the F40 represented a philosophy: lightness, radicalism, and mechanical purity.

Today, the Ferrari F40 is one of the most admired and revered supercars in history. A piece that embodies Ferrari’s wildest and most authentic essence, a symbol of an era in which passion and engineering combined without filters to create machines meant to transcend time.

It comes with a black wooden frame and synthetic crystal. Very well wrapped and protected for safe transport until you have it in your hands. External dimensions are 63 x 93 cm and 3 cm in depth.
