We present an elegant set of two Beijing Chinese bed runners, 100% handmade in silk on silk, dated to the 1950s–1960s.

Rugs of very high quality, with an extremely fine weave, short, silky pile and a natural sheen characteristic of genuine silk. Their traditional Chinese motifs and the harmony of colors give them an elegant, timeless presence.

In very good overall condition.
As seen in the photographs, one of the rugs shows slight wear to the fringes on one side. There are no other defects, restorations, or visible damages.
