Beautiful antique copper incense burner/incense slinger from France.
Very decorative in design.
This lovely utilitarian piece with many embellishments was filled with incense and swung back and forth to spread the smoke and scent.
Three chains are attached to the tray, by which the incense vessel could be carried around during the service or hung on the stand.
Furthermore, there is a fourth chain attached to the top ring.
In good condition for its age with some minor signs of aging/use.
