1990s Metal-Lux Wall Lights - Frosted Murano-Style Glass Pair

Elegant and distinctly Italian, this pair of 1990s wall lights by Metal-Lux combines sculptural form with soft ambient illumination. Their refined leaf-shaped silhouette, frosted ribbed glass diffusers and polished gold-tone mounts create a sophisticated postmodern look that works beautifully in both vintage and contemporary interiors.

Made in Italy by Metal-Lux S.N.C. (label present: Art. 44161 AU), these sconces date from the 1990s and reflect the brand’s decorative lighting aesthetic of the period. Each light features a satin-finished molded glass shade with subtle vertical fluting, held by graceful curved metal arms over a rounded brass-tone backplate. When lit, they produce a warm, atmospheric glow.

This is an attractive and highly decorative matching pair, ideal for a hallway, bedroom or living room, and particularly appealing to collectors of late 20th-century Italian design. Dimensions of each lamp: height 27 cm / 10.63 in, width 16 cm / 6.30 in, depth 8 cm / 3.15 in. Condition is good vintage overall, with light signs of age and use; the shades present well, while the metal backplates show visible surface scratches consistent with age.
