Tibet, & Nepal - Ritual objects - 20th century

Religious & ceremonial objects (6) from Tibet and Nepal and Japan (1923) period after 1950.

From Tibet come the folder with the photo and the 'Tea-Brick'. They belong together because they come from the same monastery or temple building. The tea tile is very well preserved.

The other objects come from Nepal.
The brass prayer plate depicts Buddha with two followers. It is sealed and marked with the double vajra.
The two 'Vajra' are cast bronze. The largest measures 12 cm (ca 1950), the smallest 9.5 cm and is older.
Finally a 'Phurba', a ritual shamanic dagger of the Tamang people from Nepal. The hardwood three-sided dagger has 3 deity faces on the haft with the typical animal crown at the top, the mythical snow lion.

The Phurba and the 2 Vajras come from an old Catawiki auction; the other objects originate from Antwerp antique shops.
They are shipped well packed.
